You can help provide the homeless cats and kittens we care for by sponsoring one of the branch's cat pens. Every year we provide unwanted cats and kittens with a clean and safe place to stay, warm bedding, regular meals, veterinary care and a lot of love whilst the cats are feeling vulnerable. We currently have four fosterers who care for the cats and kittens brought into care through being abandoned, stray or given up by their owners. At any one time we can have up to 30 cats in care and have to maintain a waiting list. Once a new and loving home is found the pen is soon occupied by another cat and or kitten.
Did you know?:
Around 90p pays for food and litter for a day
£20 pays for a short course of antibiotics
Approximately £50 pays for a basic blood test
It's £51 for castration of a Tom, £63 for spaying a female
£60 pays for a course of vaccinations
£100 is the minimum cost for taking in a young family (including the cost of getting mum spayed)
It costs approximately £1500 to set up a single cat pen
Excluding any veterinary care, which the majority of the cats require, the cost of caring for a cat in a pen is approximately £30 per month. If all our pens had sponsors it would be an immense help to us. By sponsoring a pen you can make a real difference and help us provide the care that that these cats and kittens deserve.
For a minimum monthly donation of £5 (more if you wish), you'll receive a certificate which will include details of the pen you will be sponsoring and every quarter we will send you Pen Sponsorship News. This will give you details and photographs of the cats that you have helped by your kindness. To sponsor a pen today, please download the Pen Sponsorship Application Form and send it to us.
